Carmel Owen is a composer, lyricist and dramatist whose first musical, Asylum: The Strange Case Of Mary Lincoln, had a successful off-Broadway run at the York Theatre. Asylum features a book by June Bingham and is available for licensing through the Rodgers and Hammerstein Organization. Currently she is hard a work on Monet, a new musical about the life and career of the great French impressionist.
